Sigla is a sector-focused private equity firm based in London.
Our passions and our focus lie on healthcare and business services. We have invested and operated in these sectors and their respective sub-sectors for decades and only focus on selected areas and themes we know well. We look to invest in companies we can be proud of and for which our involvement can make a real difference.
We seek to invest to create a concentrated portfolio, where every investment counts and companies can get the right level of attention from us.
We invest in Europe and focus on regions we know well and where we understand local markets and dynamics and can bring our networks to bear.
Our Backgrounds
We have been on both sides of the table: the Sigla Partners combine long investment track records with hands-on entrepreneurship and operating experience. We have also founded and run businesses ourselves.

How We Create Value
We work with only a small number of companies, allowing us to truly dig in and spend time with our partners, not just set expectations. We also have a dedicated value creation team and a very substantial proprietary network of sector experts and vetted functional experts (sales, office of the CTO/CFO, digitalisation, AI to name a few) which allow us to bring true expertise to the table and to support in the operational heavy lifting.

We modernise from day one and think ahead — we renew tech stacks, enable data-driven operations, and embed AI to enhance decision-making and accelerate performance.
Commercial and Operational Excellence:
We help build scalable organisations — strengthen finance, sales, business development, HR, and governance functions to support long-term growth.
Strategic M&A:
We have run bolt-on and strategic transformational acquisition programs from the engine room. In addition to our hands-on experience, our sourcing platform identifies and secures high-value, complementary acquisition targets.
Nordstjernan — an active partnership
Sigla was founded by its three Managing Partners and Nordstjernan AB, a Swedish investment house with +130 years of legacy in direct investing and in entrepreneurship. Nordstjernan is owned by a foundation for public benefit and is family-controlled. Its dividend helps to fund, among other things, scholarly and scientific research — a cause we’re proud to support at Sigla.
